The first thing to know is that the deal doesn’t mean Nabokov is a Flyer, and rumors are saying that he will not sign with them and will test the open market this coming Thursday.

In the event that they do sign him, would they want to re sign Emery and would he even want to sign knowing he would be a back up.

My guess is that the Flyers are looking elsewhere for their goaltending needs, and Ray is going to see the different offers he can get on Thursday, either way it’s going to be interesting to see where he ends up even if it is still with the Flyers, I hope he will prove that he is a number one goalie again.
