Last time Ray Emery got the start in Edmonton in a game that finished 9-2, well this time Corey Crawford got the start, but Emery came in to replace him and the Blackhawks lost 8-4. Chicago isn’t enjoying their visits to Edmonton this year!

Ray Emery hasn’t played since he let 3 goals in on December 20th, and Crawford has been playing great, so unless that changes, I assume Emery will only get in to give Corey some rest like when the season started.

Ray Emery got in almost 15 minutes of ice time to finish the game on Tuesday night against the Phoenix Coyotes after Corey Crawford was pulled for allowing 4 goals on 21 shots. Sugar Ray stopped all 3 of the shots he faced.

I honestly thought he would’ve started one of the two games this past weekend against the Dallas Stars since they were back to back. The next time the Blackhawks play games back to back is October 28th and 29th.
