
Sorry I’m late, but with the horrible weekend, I needed time to digest it. Ray Emery made his 5th start of the season for the Chicago Blackhawks, and it was his worse one to date. It was his first regulation loss of the season.
Emery started the game but got pulled after letting 3 goals in on the first 9 shots of the game, Corey Crawford came in to take over for the rest of the first period but he didn’t fair any better, letting in 2 goals on 7 shots. Ray came back to finish the final two periods letting in another 4 goals on 18 shots.
Overall it was a horrible weekend for me, my favorite goaltender Ray Emery had a bad outing letting in a total of 7 goals on 27 shots, and my favorite player Mike Green is injured and the Capitals lost 7-1 to the Leafs!
I don’t know when Ray Emery will get his next start, but hopefully it will be soon so he can bounce back, because I know he’s not enjoying having this as his most recent playing memory.
